A powerhouse of 90’s-tinged indie rock/alternative pop, Loviet (pronounced low-vee-it) has made a name for herself supporting critically acclaimed artists like The Beaches, Giant Rooks and Jesse Jo Stark and performing at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Summerfest and Ottawa Bluesfest.

Backed by longtime bandmate/drummer Ryan Perry and bassist Keith Whipple, Loviet’s performances have been described by Exclaim! Magazine’s Megan LaPierre as ‘larger than life’, delivering a show that is fit for an arena.

Loviet's recent EP release titled The Nighttime Is All In The Timing, produced by American indie-rock band Now, Now, is a five-track offering that’s sonically expansive and emotionally charged. From the unabating urgency of the boldly breathtaking anthem “Broken Lips” to the unapologetic roar of “Star Treatment”, The Nighttime Is All In The Timing soundtracks moments of reckoning and raw reflection through catchy and cathartic upheavals that hit hard and leave a lasting mark.

“Powerhouse' is the type of PR wording that admittedly tends to be hyperbolic, but it feels accurate in Loviet's case. Nova Scotia-bred, Toronto-based Natalie Lynn makes '90s-inspired alt-pop with guts, seamlessly blending glossy synth textures and sludgy guitars that gives her sound a signature gleaming grittiness.”

“With an engrossing, arresting sound and enough personality and bite to stand out from the crowd, up-coming Canadian singer-songwriter Loviet is showing all of the characteristics of someone destined for bigger things”
– Kieran Rogers, Clout Magazine

“As her body of work grows, it’s clear that Loviet is here to take up some serious space on the edge of pop’s dancehall mold. A good measure of ‘***k-it’ undertones live in her exhales to help counterattack the industries plastic and emphasize her see-through approach to real stories and guttural songs.”
